Guide for Ladies: No. 1 Rule of a Lady and why you should be classy

Being classy is not about being stuck up, it is about having style and taking care to be polite to others and to reflect a genuine interest in them, as well as being confident in yourself and happy with who you are.

The first thing that might come to your mind when you think about the image of a classy lady is a woman from the high society dressed in a fitted pencil skirt, looking gorgeous, sleek and polished. Someone who comes across as poised and elegant.

But being classy is not about social status or appearance. In fact, I would like to argue that being classy is mainly about inner qualities and etiquette. However, I will not contest that appearance doesn't matter at all, after all we live in a world where we only have 7 seconds to make a first impression.

My first rule of a lady is to be classy because I believe that there is a higher chance to live a fulfilling life by being classy. Think long term. Look at mature women you admire, how they carry themselves and what sort of life they are living. I believe that being classy attracts good and stable relationships, the best friendships, and increases your self-worth and thereof has a positive impact on you career and life successes.

So be classy ladies!
